Not sure what to say?

Love you, dad!!!

Dear Dad, Memories of you still burn brightly, love you much. Your daughter, Tanya

He was always, always kind and gracious to me growing up. Will always have a special place in my heart.

Dad, a lot has gone on in this crazy world since you left. You're in a far better place than us; count yourself blessed that "you're the one who got away" (lol)! It's just a reminder that Jesus is coming back soon. He won't allow mankind to wipe himself off the face of the earth. I look forward to seeing you again. The world is less bright, less musical, less funny without you. I'm sure that you and Bro. Spivey are having a ball!!!
Much love, Tanya

Love you, Daddy :)

Tanya

May the glorious memories of Mr. Gainer continue to flourish in our Hearts And Minds on this memorable anniversary if his passing. Gods blessings to all his family and friends.

Please accept my sincere condolences in the passing of Severne Gainer.

He sang with my father, Charles Henley, who has since passed away. There were the Heavenly Travellers and The CTS Singing Bus Drivers, my memory fails me of the other names.

May he rest in peace.

Gainer,is what we used to call him,I remember him and my Dad singing at the house practicing, with the transiteers.I also remember the first time I saw them on the Gene Carroll show ,we were so proud.also when my Dad passed, they all sang at his homecoming..Mr Gainer leading them in.I remember them all so well,Gainer, tyree, phil,Walter, woodrow, and all the rest,I remember Mr gainer with that little harmonica to start them off in the right key.My alltime favorite Transiteer song was, ROCK A MY...

When I was a child and my uncle "Yiggie" (his nickname) would come to visit, my brothers and would get very excited because we knew he would sing a few songs for us. We would call our friends and he would sing for us. We would stand there with our chests swelled with pride. He was a kind and loving uncle and he will be greatly missed. Take your rest dearest uncle.
Love, your niece "Cookie."
