My prayers and thoughts are with the Ryckman family. I still remember visiting Dayton after I graduated from Orono High(Class 63). Jim and I were close friends until he moved with his family to Dayton.

Dr. Jim Ryckman was truly a living history book. His recall of the events of his life was remarkable and the love he had for his late wife and children heartwarming. It was my pleasure to care for him as a patient last year at FMC; he marked my life forever.

We met Mr. Ryckman at my son's wedding last fall to Rebecca Ryckman. He was so nice & enjoyed the wedding & other festivities so much! I can see why Rebecca loved him so much. I'm sure he was loved by all.

What a wonderful man with such a positive attitude. Even though we knew him only a short time, we enjoyed his visits and story telling.
