Shady Valentine "Brother" Burdette

We've known Bro Burdette for over 50yrs. I was baptized in Coachella Church by Bro Burdette 49 yrs ago!
He was a kind and caring man with a very big voice and a great sense of humor! We all loved and respected him so very much.
He was an icon. He influenced our lives and we will never forget him.

I met Shady and Lois back in the 90's at Tri-Palm Estates. He and Lois would take turns at the Concierge Desk greeting Guests as they came into the Club House. I was in my 20's back then and they reminded me of my family in Pennsylvania. Shady and I would talk about the Coal Mines as my father was a Coal Miner and a Farmer. Lois was a sweet lady who's voice reminded me of Dolly Pardon. Great memories I have of this wonderful couple who have now joined together in the Kingdom of Heaven. ...
