Shailesh was born on November 23, 1969 and passed away on Friday, July 6, 2018. Shailesh was a resident of Flower Mound, Texas at the time of passing.
Shailesh and I graduated from our Ph.D. programs and hit the academic job market at around the same time and kept bumping into each other at conferences over the years. He was one of the liveliest and most energetic persons whom I had ever met. My deepest regrets and condolences over his truly untimely demise.

I knew Shailesh since 1979. He was my batch mate @ St Thomas Academy in Goregaon Mumbai, India. He was our batch Head Boy in 1985. He was a brillient Through Gentlemen. I still cannot get over the news of his death. We all our batch mates will miss him for the rest of our lives.
