To the Guy family.... My name is Rod Hill and my brother (Cpt. Raymond D. Hill II) was in the Humvee with Shakere that faitful day. My brother also gave his life that same day. There isn't a day that goes by that I dont think of the story of how it all started to have my brother and Shakere come together. I have met a couple of fellow soldier friends of Shakere that I have become very good friend with, both of which were very touched by the passing of Shakere and Raymond. May God keep you in...

In Memory of Shakere ~ (Debra Estep)

Holding you all in my thoughts and prayers.

The Wind on The Downs

“I like to think of you as brown and tall,
As strong and living as you used to be,
In khaki tunic, Sam Brown belt and all,
And standing there and laughing down at me.
Because they tell me, dear, that you are dead,
Because I can no longer see your face,
You have not died, it is not true, instead
You seek adventure in some other place.
That you are round about me, I believe;
I hear you...

To the family of Sgt. Shaker T. Guy:
Shaker gave the ultimate sacrifice and will be held in the hearts of Americans forever. I cannot and will not let our fallen heroes be forgotten. My deepest sympathy to you. "Some gave all."
