Shakira L. Gatlin

Shakira Gatlin was born January 19, 2003, to Erica Robinson and Linnell Gatlin, Jr.  She was the third child of six children. She gave her life to Christ at a very young age at TurningPointe Missionary Church in Flowood, MS. She was a graduate of Callaway High School in Jackson, MS, and attended Delta Technical College in Ridgeland, MS. Shakira loved being around family but enjoyed dancing the most. 

On Wednesday, February 2, 2022, Our Father called Shakira home. She is preceded in death by her father, Derrick Glendell Robinson, Sr.

To cherish her loving memories is her mother, Erica (Shay) Robinson, Jackson, MS; Sister, Dainasha Robinson of Jackson, MS; Brothers, Christopher Milan, KeVonte Milan, Derrick Robinson and Derrien Robinson, all of Jackson, MS.

To also cherish her memories are her Grandmothers; Alma Spivey and Minnie Sheppard both of Jackson, MS.

Aunts, Curtisine Spivey, Shatavia Turner, Teresa Robinson, Brenda Robinson, Donna Robinson, Tina Robinson, Shamika Robinson and Keshia Robinson, all of Jackson, MS; Uncles, Michael Bell, Broidery Turner, Calvin Robinson, Clarence Robinson, Jerry Robinson, Casey Robinson, and Montra Robinson, all of Jackson, MS. 

She is also survived by a loving nephew, host of cousins and friends.
