Not sure what to say?

It was good to see you at convocation Lisa. We are so incredibly saddened at the news of Shane's passing, and it was nice to share memories of him when I saw you. You and your family are and will remain in our prayers.

Dear Lisa and family, I am so sorry for your loss.

Shane and I crossed paths in London, where we both attended Hawksedown House School. We shared something in common in that we were both foreign to London; I had come from Australia and Shane from the US. Although we were only around 6 years of age at the time, I still look back on my friendship with Shane fondly.

Reflecting now, it is truly remarkable how intelligent Shane was at such a young age. His memory was impeccable, he had learnt by heart all of the flags of the world at...

Erik, Lisa, Evan and Heidi,
When I first heard of Shane's passing, I immediately heard his voice and saw his face in my head as a young, eager, special boy who loved life. He was always kind, thoughtful and engaged and was a joy to be around and inspiring in terms of how he took in the world around him, always asking questions and wanting to know more. I was happy to read that he had such a strong committment to his faith, I am sure it was a wondeful part of his life and his sacred...

We adored Shane from the moment we met him. We send all our love to all of you.

My deepest condolences to Shane's family. Trust that he is in a better place with the Lord. You will see him again by following the path of faith that Shane left as an example for all. God Bless you all during this time, Aris Martone

As you remember your love one, as God heals your broken hearts (Psalm 147:3), may your cherished memories bring you peace, comfort, and strength to endure.

What a beautiful obituary. I wish I had known Shane. He truly cared about things that matter. I am sorry for his family's loss.

I met Shane when I was a para at CCS. Shane was a very memorable young man, even so early in his life. He involved himself wholeheartedly in every activity he participated in, and it showed. Shane had the wonderful ability to befriend ANYONE, adults and peers alike. Whenever Shane met someone for the first time, he always would want to know your name. After that, he would always make a point to greet you by your name and engaged in a conversation about whatever he remembered you where...
