It was good to see you at convocation Lisa. We are so incredibly saddened at the news of Shane's passing, and it was nice to share memories of him when I saw you. You and your family are and will remain in our prayers.

Shane and I crossed paths in London, where we both attended Hawksedown House School. We shared something in common in that we were both foreign to London; I had come from Australia and Shane from the US. Although we were only around 6 years of age at the time, I still look back on my friendship with Shane fondly.

He was always kind, thoughtful and engaged and was a joy to be around and inspiring in terms of how he took in the world around him, always asking questions and wanting to know more.
