Not sure what to say?

Elwin Gene (Al), Marty and family,

Sadly, there is nothing that I can say or do that will ease your pain. I wish that there was. Sorry just doesn't adequately describe the emotions of losing anyone, particularly a child! My heart aches for you.

I deeply regret that I didn't have an opportunity to meet Shane.

David B. Biggins, Cousin

Dear Biggin family,
I was shocked to here of shanes passing, I remember walking to school with him, I was in band with him at Creston and injoyed his music, he was always a show off. It was great. May God bless you at this time. And Shane, thanks for the memories, you were one of the best. Class of 81.

Al,Marty and family,

I can't tell you what a shock it was to learn of Shane's passing. I am so glad to have seen him since coming back to GR.

Music is very important to me and that is mainly through the friendship of Shane. His happiness and sense of humor pulled me and many others through our teen years. There are well worn memories of the long trip around the lake to Madison, WI when we worked to integrate Chuck Mangione into our show.

Its these...

Dear Marty, Al, and the whole Biggins family,

My mother called me last Sunday and told me the horrible news of Shane's death. I couldn't even begin to tell you how profoundly he influenced my life through music. Marching together in the Coachmen, playing together in Creston's Jazz Band, those were some wonderful times which I will never forget. I wish I could flatter myself by thinking I had something to do with his love for music, and his success with it. What a fine soprano...

Shane was a good guy with a heart of gold. He will be missed.

Your family will be in my prayers. I am so sorry for your loss of Shane. I remember him fondly as a sincere and friendly person. He had a real spark and was always ready with a smile. I am glad he was my classmate. My sympathy goes out to you all.

what a shock, you will always have a special place in my heart, you will be greatly missed
