Shane Michael Chandler

REIDSVILLE, NC

Shane Michael Chandler, 36, was born on January 13, 1976, and passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Deborah D. Chandler; parents, Rupert and Sandra Chandler of Stuarts Draft, Virginia; stepson, Paul Doherty of New Jersey; stepdaughter, Jillian Doherty of Reidsville; two sisters, Suanne Scrogham and Cole of New Hope Virginia, and Amy Grieves and Jeff of Richmond, Virginia; one niece, Sydney; and two nephews, Michael and Luke. Shane was a graduate of Stuarts Daft High School, Jerry Malson Outfitting and Guide School in Trout Creek Montana and Drivers Academy in Camden, New Jersey. He was a welder by trade but a farmer at heart.

A visitation will be held from 6:30 until 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2012, at Wayne Hills Baptist Church, 877 Ladd Road, Waynesboro, Virginia.
