Not sure what to say?

Captain Daniels, I had the good fortune to be assigned to FOCCEUR from 1982 to 1986; I recall you were a good and fair skipper. Fair winds and following seas, may forever you feel, upon your cheek, the salty breeze. Your spirit lives on in many a heart, your words captured, and never to depart. Shane and Lynne - my deepest condolences.

Captain Daniels - fair winds and following seas. Rest in peace.

I will always remember Mr. Daniels for his patience, intelligence and forbearance. He was a humble man but just his presence could give you a sense of allegiance that he had for his country. I enjoyed working as his caregiver and everyday friend. I´ve always admired his strength and perseverance in regards to life. His continuing endeavor was to bring happiness to his family. Upon my visits of work, I could see the love that he shared so dearly with his wife! Each day to him was a blessing...

As a small girl I have wonderful memories of Capt Daniels graciously hosting our family at many dinners and parties in England! And then, 15 years later and across an ocean Landon and I perused many of his estate sales for the furnishings and the essentials of a newly married couple's home. I often remember his name as "ShaneandPeggy" in our house as if it were always one word and my heart and love goes out to Peggy and the rest of the family.
