Shane Thomas Johnson, 35, passed away January 4, 2023 at his home in Lawrenceburg.  Born in New Albany, IN on July 17, 1987, Shane is the son of Julie L. Sullivan and her husband John B. Sullivan of Lawrenceburg, and Tommy Johnson of Sellersburg, IN.


He worked as a facilities manager with Kentucky State Government.  Known for his Rap Music, Shane recently signed a record contract and was working on an album which included his single “Helpless”.


Including his parents, he is survived by his two children, Keaton Johnson and Kinley Johnson; his sister, Johna Brooke Sullivan of Lawrenceburg; maternal grandparents, John and Jane Semones; two step siblings, Tony Sizemore and Tammy Schindler, both of Indiana; a nephew, Josiah Brown; and a special friend, Jennifer Purvis.


Visitation will be on Monday, January 9, 2023 from 11 AM – 1 PM followed by the service beginning at 1:00 PM at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.


Serving as pallbearers will be Tony Sizemore, Brandon Phillips, Nick Rakestraw, Kevin Ritchey, Montize Brown, and Franklin Beasley.
