Mr. Wray was my eighth grade science teacher. He made me so excited to come to class because I knew I would both learn and laugh there. He always made everyone feel like they could do and be whatever they wanted as long as they were willing to try. I'll always miss him.

If I learned anything from Mr Wray it was that he never ever loses and if you told him otherwise he would prove you wrong. Mr Wray wasn't just an ordinary teacher that taught integrated science he was a man that touched everyone with a simple smile or even when he would just walk past and hand you a worksheet, you felt a special feeling about him and you knew he cared. Shane left his footprints on many hearts to never be forgotten. He was one of my dearest cousin friends. If you ever needed an honest opinion; you could count on Shane. I pray for his family and his extended families. I am sorry we have to endure this loss. His light will always shine upon us.

So sorry to read this news. I went to school with Shane when we were kids. He was a great guy! Not surprised to read that he was "a good human" and an amazing teacher. Gone too soon.
