One of the most motivated and inspirational people I've ever known. Will be missed and remembered forever. PEACE OUT BRO

Shannon, haven't seen you for a long time. My mom and yours were great friends. You made me laugh so hard. You will see mom (Shirley Sikes) up there too. You two take care of each other. Till we meet again.

In memory of my friend Shannon. We had great times in high school and cruisin around summer time. I should have kept in touch. Hopefully when we stand before the Lord I'll be there with him. See you brother. Bert

To Shannon's Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Shannon, even though we hadn't seen each other in many many years, I'll still have the great memories of San Gabriel Street. You gave me my first job, taking over your paper route on Tuesdays and Thursdays, while you had karate practice. Thank you for your friendship and the great memories, that will stay with me forever.

I've heard about your...

Mr. Apple, we will never forget you at Starbucks. Everyone is pretty down about the fact that we won't be able to hear your music blasting from 7 cars back and the fact there will be no more venti iced 4 shot vanilla latte... everything happens for a reason I suppose, for what we may never know until the end. I hope you have a safe journey wherever you go.

Shannon and I have been friends since the 8th grade and have been through alot together. I'll miss you brother.

I remember when I first met Shannon when we were high school age then we came upon eachother again in 01 and became closer through our family connection at The Genesis House. I remember giving him a bad time and how he was such a good sport about it. I remember his unselfish ways and how he gave back to family members at the program whenever he came by and I also remember talking with him about his next goal that he was working on achieving. I remember that he was going to a tournament or...
