SHANNON BEST

Shannon was my commander and friend for 3 and 1/2 years in the late 1980's. His laughter was unique and his smile was infectious. RIP dear friend.

We are so sad to lose Shannon and Marylou. The two of them were a dynamic duo. The love they had for one another is truly incredible. We will never forget the laughter and stories we heard of their adventures in life. Two best friends are together at peace and in perfect form in heaven. God Bless you and we will miss you both. LTC Best was the commander at B211SF, an organization that helped to set a direction for the rest of my life. He was an exemplary leader he will be missed. Rest In Peace LTC Best.

Mary Lou, All of is who served with Shannon are very sad that he has passed on. He changed countless lives when he was Commander of Company B, 2nd Special Forces Battalion, 11th Special Forces Group (Airborne). I was one of many. With prayers. Rest In Peace.
