You always knew what you were getting with Mrs. Christie....a smile that would warm your heart and a big hug to go along with it! More often than not, a breakfast was also waiting for you after spending the night at the Christie's. There is some comfort knowing that she is now back with her best friend (Big D). Our condolences to the entire family. Love, Mark & Kathy Chase

I was very sorry to hear about Shannon when my children called me in Fl to tell me.I will be unable to attend the funeral however, my thought and prayers go out to all of you.Cathy Connolly

Shannon and her holiday tree:)

Our sister and your Mom had five children and two brothers and each one of them was her favorite. That way of looking at the people she loved was extended to each member of her famlygrandchildren, great grandchildren, niece or nephews, cousins, and all the spouses. She saw what was special' in each and every one of us and she celebrated it; it was what made you, you and what made you family. She was our classic matriarchespecially after her Mom and Dad and her special love, Don, were gone....

My Condolences and love to my cousin Brenda Christe and the whole Christie Family. So sorry for the loss of your loved one. R.I.P. and may God's heavenly light guide you.

I spent my first 19 years living next-door to the Christie's. My best friend is Donald "Chris" their oldest son.
I have so many great memories of the Christie household. Both Shannon "Mom" and her husband Don, where like my second parents.
I can't imagine what my life would've been like, without being a part of their family. As the saying says, "It takes a village to raise a child.", I am blessed that she was part of my "village".
I know she will be deeply missed by all...

A living tribute to her & family condolences to the Family and those she left behind
