Shannon,
You will always be on my mind and in my heart! I remember your silly little laugh when we would play and your beautiful smile. You will forever be missed by all, but I know you are smiling down on all of us! I love you Shan!!

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Shannon,
The thing I will miss the most is not having another Shannon on the team with me. I am going to miss all those moments when we would both turn our heads when people called our name. The team will never be the same without you. You and your family are in my thoughts everyday. I love and miss you Shannon.

I still think about you everyday and how much this team loves you and misses you. You were one of the first people i met on this team, and I will never forget any of the memories we shared in our short time knowing eachother. Thanks for being a great person and a great friend. I love you, Shannon. You will always be in my heart.

There are no words to describe how much the swim team truly misses Shannon. Even at the hardest times, she was always there to put a smile on your face. I am so glad I was given the chance to become friends with her and I know Shannon will be in our hearts and prayers forever. Love and miss you Shannon.

Mr and Mrs. Harkins,
You really don't know how much of an great job you did raising a beautiful young lady... I was lucky enough to meet her at the recruit night last year, she stayed with me. I remember her bringing a suitcase for 1 night to stay over. From the first time we meet I knew she would be a dear friend, teammate and sister. Shannon always knew how to cheer you up and when to crack a joke. In the little time I knew her I have so many great memories of her. Her beautiful smile...
