I first got to know Sparky as a friend of several of the basketball players I coached at MHS. He came to the games and supported the team, and we appreciated that. As time went on, we shared being fans of the White Sox which involved some positive and frustrating discussions. He was a good guy that will be missed deeply by his friends and family. My condolences to them, and may he rest in peace.
