Shannon Hilgart

Laura and Jimmy, I am so sorry to hear about Shannons passing. She was a good friend when we were kids.

I grew up hanging out in the Hilgart house. They were like a second family to me and Jim was a childhood friend. Shannon was always fun she always was so sweet to me. I made many trips with her family to her grandparents. Just a great loving family. I too became a social worker so I always felt that like all social workers we were kindred spirit. I am saddened to hear of Shannon's death. I have fun memories of working with her and she was a dedicated worker. My sympathy to her family, who I know she adored. God's peace to you all.

Laura, I'm so very sorry to hear this news. I worked with Shannon at AIDS Outreach Center where Shannon and I shared a delightful friendship and working relationship. She was a bright light who practiced care and compassion to all she encountered. Shannon will be sorely missed by all who were fortunate to know her.
