Kim, very sorry to learn about the passing of your sister. I remember at the relay how you spoke of her and the love and concern for not only her but her children. Dereck, you have my deepest and most heartfelt sympathies. Shannon was a beautiful person, a giving person, and always smiling. That is how I remember her and always will. Although most of us didn't have the opportunity to meet Shannon, she touched us in such a positive way & inspired us to be better a better friend, parent, spouse, sister etc. As Shannon stated, "Time is precious and we all can be gone in an instant. Sure it's easy to get sidetracked with the day to day grinds of our lives with work, kid's school activities, dinner and bedtime. Just remember tomorrow isn't guaranteed for any of us."
