Not sure what to say?

So many times over the years, I have given thanks to the wonderful Dr. Shannon Pratt, who elucidated the concepts, arguments and processes of business valuation so clearly. His wonderful mind and clear way of expressing complex ideas helped many of us. I appreciate and value him and his contributions.

I will remember your dad's warm smile, his jovial demeanor and his love of dogs! Also his love of a good social gathering.

Shannon and Millie were great people! I met Shannon through my boss, Chet Paulson and his wife, Jackie. Shannon was on the Board and an integral part of the decision making for Chet's IPO business. I could always find a dance partner in Shannon at our XMAS parties at the Benson! My thoughts are with you..

I would like to express my condolences to the family in the loss of Shannon. He will be greatly missed. He will be in our hearts as long as we sign a valuation report. His legacy will last long. My prayers to family and close friends.

On behalf of Clyth MacLeod now passed and myself I would like to express my condolences to the family in the loss of Shannon. I will look after my book on business valuation written by Shannon and reflect on his input to business valuation consistently.

One of the true pioneers of our Industry. I still have on my desk his book on valuation of Small Businesses and Professional Practices. He will be greatly missed. Prayers and Blessings to the family!

I knew Shannon professionally. As a lawyer who did a lot of business disputes i both retained Shannon as an expert and, on occasion, encountered him as an expert for my adversary. In either role he was always very well prepared, articulate, reasoned, and good natured. As we got to know each other better he and I became good friends. In later years he shared with me his passion for model railroads. Please convey my good wishes to his family--he was an Oregon treasure.

I worked for Shannon for several years toward the end of his long career. I remember a man who in addition to working hard on new editions of his many books, also enjoyed organizing many a party around his seasonal railroad festivities, singing an Irish ditty and gathering friends and neighbors together. Condolences to his children and grandchildren.
