Not sure what to say?

You gave the world a lot of spunk and sass. I'm glad our lives intersected at Ordahl Hall. Goodbye, Shannon. See you in the white butterflies

Shannon, I will always treasure our times at Rainier Writing Workshop. Your sardonic but warm humor. The way you could see the truth, and express it with such wisdom and charm. I loved our phone conversations, and will forever be grateful for your empathetic support as I fought through a very tough thesis year. You are now a true laureate where it really matters, eternity.

Wish you were still here. Your viewpoints, and ways of expressing them, were so authentic and thought-provoking. Sad you are gone, but glad you are at peace.

Shannon was a beautiful person inside and out. I will always cherish my memories of her. My deepest sympathy and my love to Joan and Bingham and all the family.

She will be missed by all who knew her—her smile, her sense of humor, her poetry, her spirit.

We are so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort and peace in God, who heals those broken in heart. Psalm 147:3

Shannon was a jewel. It was always a pleasure sitting around the Big Table of poetry with her on Sunday mornings. I will miss her kindness and wit.

Pray that Shannon is resting peacefully in loving arms of God. For those left behind, hope that, in time, the happy memories of her spirit will fill the hole that her loss has left in your hearts…..
