Not sure what to say?

Shari hired me as an aide and then a teacher at Ivymount in the early 1990s.The culture of the school was one of constant learning by and for the staff in the field of special education. I will be forever grateful to her for giving me the opportunity to enrich the lives of children and families, and making me a better special educator.

Haven't seen SHARI since 1959 -- (64 years ago!) -- but I dreamt about her and Bob last night and was Shocked and saddened to find this obit on Google today ~~ AlehaSholem! -- Old Friends Never die -- they live on in our dreams, Shari was the greatest women I have ever known. And I'm glad I knew her even though it was long ago and far away.

It was thanks to sheri,s inspiration that I was able to learn about my strong skills and that I was able to advance in life to reach the goals I had.I was also very touched when she asked me to speak to one of the graduation classes back in the early 90s after I had left school almost 20 years prior. She was a wonderful person and I will miss her as I know many of her former students will.

Ona - So very sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. She was such an amazing, inspirational person, and she will be greatly missed. Our thoughts are with you and your family.

Shari hired me to work at Ivymount in the mid 90's. She was the most patient, kind and understanding person to lead the school. Shari was a pioneer for people with disabilities and she will be sorely missed.

Shari was an inspiration in my life. I have now spent 44 years working, as she did, to leave the world a little better than we found it for kids and adults with differences. Thank you, Shari.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. You will be missed deeply.
