I remember Shari from high school as smart and funny; she was someone that you really just had to like... very sorry to hear this news, will keep Shari and her family in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Mrs. Grubb,
I am truly saddened to hear of Shari's passing. As I look at all of the posts I am reminded of the strength and love of the class of 1979. May you find this strength and love and God's Blessings in the days to come.

A cold call in 2009 blew my mind, as did a few others. I didn't get to know Shari until a few years ago and our conversations centered on Skyler, family and dear playmates from Marlin and North. The depth of her love for others was genuine and ran deep. After each call, she left me with this surreal sense of renewal-- a gift that I'm not even sure she knew was given. That's who Shari was to me. To those who crossed her path, may God bless and hold tight.

Peggy and family,
I just wanted you all to know how much I loved & cared about Shari and will always remember her. Although it had been so very long since Shari & I spent time together, my memories go all the way back to the early days at Marlin as well as through High School. We shared so may great days & nights together at Marlin and at each others homes. You always made me feel like a part of your family and my family always loved Shari & loved having her around our home as well. ...

My heart goes out to all of you. Shari was always a kind and passionate person. Our hearts were always back on "bethel lane" area where we grew up. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Mrs. Grubb:
I was truly sadden to learn of Shari's passing and your loss. As I reflect back on my grade, middle and high school years I'm ashamed to admit that I can only remember just a hand full of my classmate's names. Shari, however, was one of those few people! I can remember as kids setting in the stands eating popcorn watching our brothers play football. Years later we would joke about those days and her "popcorn" pants (Shari wore pants with a popcorn print). I will sadly miss,...

Peggy, Amber, Tony, Angie, Blake, Jeremiah, and all of your families, My deepest condolences for this loss to "our" family. I had known Shari as a schoolmate and friend since I was 10. Then we became family and had the chance to share the same nephew in Blake. I am truly saddened by her leaving this earth so early. My prayers are with you all, and with Skylar.
