Thank you to all who have expressed feelings about your experiences and interactions with my sister shari during her life.
Her journey toward death helped her to learn of and appreciate the power of the Impact she had on people from the various paths that she traversed. Shari was heartened by the outpouring of caring that enveloped her when people learned of her sudden and tragic illness --
She offered that she learned that the most important aspect of her life, in the final...

Beth, Debbi and family,
I am sorry for the loss of your beloved sister.
I did not know Shari very well but, I did
have the pleasure of meeting her on a couple of occassions. What made those times memorable was, that she was always smiling and had a positive attitude. We certainly can learn from that example.
And, I know that both of you and the family have so many wonderful memories, and you will always have that.
Love to you all, Ronnie Leibowitz

My condolences to Shari's sisters and loved ones. I was her professor at NYU years ago but I remember her seriousness of purpose, her belief in the connection between theatre as truth teller and faith as art. I had great respect for her personal and intellectual courage and fortitude. My
admiration to all who helped her in her illness. We are indebted.

All of Shari's vitality and ahava lazulat came through on each and every theater workshop that she guided at Kiryat Moria in Jerusalem. I knew thee well, yet briefly, while I was at Agafa Hadracha of The Youth and Hechalutz Dept.of The Jewish Agency in J'lem. You gave so graciously of your joie de vivre to untold many madrichim in their route to professionalism and on their route to adult life.
You impacted on so many and you touched so many many more... And now you have the opportunity...

Dear Beth and Debbi,
I am very proud to have been a friend of Shari's. We spent a wonderful evening together last Christmas at her place, she was as exuberant as always, and that's how I will remember her.

My sincere sympathy for your loss. I feel so fortunate to have met Shari while she lived in Fort Wayne. Last time I saw her she had us laughing as she shared her travels through Israel. She was humorous, insightful, caring and loving. I will miss her and keep the memories of her with me.

Troy family, I am so sorry for your loss and for the loss to the world of theater. From the first time I met Shari, I knew that the light of her smile would shine on me forever. She will be missed.

Dear Beth and Debbie,
I am so very sorry to hear of Shari's death. Gosh we were in Amelim together (even though I was older, she was precocious of course and just had to get started). And we played tag for years to come - she was Rosh Naaleh when I was Rosh M.B....I last saw her at a Jerusalem Feminist gathering when I was still on Gezer, we were both surprised to see each other there (not because of Feminism, we just didn't both realize we were in Israel at the same time).
You...
