JAMES, Sharlene G. - Of Flint, age 78, died Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Maple Place Assisted Living.

 

Funeral service will be held 12 Noon Friday, October 13, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Visitation 11am Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.

 

Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.

 

Contributions may be made to the Humane Society or Parkinson’s Association.

 

Sharlene was born in Middle Branch Township, Michigan on May 11, 1939, the daughter of the late Murle and Marjorie (Cook) Rodabaugh. On May 14, 1960, she married Robert E. James and he preceded her in death on July 1, 2017

 

Surviving are daughter, Leanne (Walter) Engle;

 

3 grandchildren, Jonah, Samantha, Ben;

 

She was also preceded in death by her son, Brian James on January 14, 2015.
