Not sure what to say?

I feel truly blessed to have known her. She was a great model of care as she served as a deaconess at our church. She was a great model and encouragement to me as I observed her gentle spirit and kindness. I look forward to seeing her again in a much better place.

When Sharon peacefully departed from us gently and lovingly held in Ken's arms she left with a very sweet smile on her lips. She was saying without words all was well with her as she moved on into Christ's waiting arms. She had shared one evening with her Tuesday night fellowship a vision she had had in which she was being held in the arms of Jesus. Now she was there with Him, her earthly journey completed. Her tests and trials and challenges had been fulfilled. She had prevailed with...

Sharon was a genuine example of steadfast faith in The Lord to all who knew her, especially in the last days of her life on this earth. She reflected the gentleness and kindness that came from her relationship with her Heavenly Father. Even as she worked through the pain and struggle, she held firm to His hand. We were so blessed to have known her and to witness her consistent walk with Jesus. You were an inspiration to all of us, Sharon.
We love you,

We are missing you on your birthday this year!

Ken,
A loss anytime is hard-Sharon will be missed by many, but the bond will always be there and the knowledge that we will be reunited in Heaven again is what keeps me going. I'm so glad that I was able to see you and Sharon again before her passing. Our talk told of her special bond with Christ and that life on earth although short, will be ever-lasting in heaven.
An angel in life-an angel through pain-
and now God has a new angel in Heaven!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you Sharon...

We were sad when Ken and Sharon moved from Portland to Pebble Beach but we soon learned that they are the type of people that keep friendships alive over distances. Through e-mails, phone calls, and visits, they cultivated friendships with us and others in Portland. You never knew when the phone would ring and an invitation to meet them at the Hawthorne Cafe would be extended. We will add a photo of Ken and Sharon at the Hawthorne Cafe. It wouldn't surprise us one bit if one day we...

Sharon was a real model to us of one who lived out what she believed. Though her body was wasting away we could really see her inward spirit being renewed and that was a real encouragement to us. Though it's a great loss for us we are happy that she is in her in eternal glory.

We were so privileged to have Sharon as part of our family. The love of God shown through her in a special way. I found her presence to be comforting and quieting. We'll see her again and what a meeting it will be! Love, Cousin Joyce

Like a candle in the wind, you were here for such a short time. Your smile, your soft voice and touch, your sweetness emanated from you like a fragrant rose. All were blessed who knew you. You will always be in our hearts and we look forward to seeing you in heaven someday! Love, Virginia and Johnny
