Luyben Dilday Mortuary Obituary

It is with great sadness that we share that Sharon L Confer passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early morning hours on July 24, 2015. She is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 50 years, JC, and her 3 silkies, Brandy, Lizzie, and Daisy.

Sharon had many passions such as cooking, reading, art, calligraphy, computers, animals, conversation, and was very open minded to a variety of view points. She was was inquisitive and curious which challenged those around her to learn and be open as well. Sharon was generous with her time, her possessions, and her love. When she would get interested in a new topic, such as Asian cooking, or new art medium, she would dive in 100% and learn everything there was to learn and take all of us on that journey with her.

Sharon was very compassionate about many social issues that became close to her heart. She was always concerned and thoughtful about those that suffered from health problems and other ailments that interfered with their happiness. She became a part of many groups that shared her common concerns so that she could learn more and support others.

Sharon enjoyed her Facebook family and friends that she played games with, shared stories, and got to know so well. She impacted many lives including so many she never even met in person.

Sharon had a grand sense of humor and a presence that comforted and lit up the world around her. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Not sure what to say?

My dear friend Sharon, i miss you so very much. We met on Multiply, and connected on Facebook. Your wisdom and kindness were so appreciated by all your friends. I loved your humor too, which was there up to the end.

Keep them joyful in Heaven. I know we'll all meet there one day. I celebrate you being out of your discomfort and trouble breathing. And pray for those who are left to mourn you, JC, Minisa and all the rest.

We all love you, Sharon.

I was fortunate to have known Sharon through Multiply and Facebook. We shared many of the same likes and dislikes and a similar sense of humor. She was very well respected by all who knew her and she is missed by all. I wish her husband JC and family condolences and peace.

I only knew Sharon through Facebook. She was my first Facebook friend. I enjoyed reading her posts and words of encouragement when my father passed away. She also encouraged me when I decided to go to college. My deepest sympathies to JC and the family and friends.

Though I only knew Sharon from Facebook i could tell she was a good person. I don't have the right to say much but I will miss her and sympathize with all who loved her. Little tree pictures and stories were some of my favorites. I'll miss that and her. RIP Sharon.

To JC and "The Girls"---our hearts are sad at the loss of beautiful Sharon...at last some peace and rest for her. She joins Donna and Mamie in a reunion of the Chitwood ladies!
Take good care, and know that we are all thinking of you.
