Sharon Lynn Crabb

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of my colleague and friend Sharon Crabb. She was a lovely woman and a skilled teacher, much loved by many, many students. She will be missed. My condolences to Joe and to her family. Shelley Gibson, Dearborn Park Elementary

Sharon was my lifelong friend, and one of the most inspirational people I've ever known. We grew up on the same street, attended Brownie meetings led by Sharon's mom, Lee, in their basement, and went to school together until her rheumatoid arthritis kept her out. She let nothing stop her, became a top student, a dedicated teacher, and an outstanding example of faith in action. We kept in touch sporadically after I moved to Idaho, but I'm glad I had the chance to tell her by e-mail recently...
