Not sure what to say?

We met Sharon in 1973 at an apt.on Mary Street in Coconut Grove. She was the Maid of Honor at our wedding in 1976. We had stayed friends all these years and I was shocked to hear of her death since I had lunch at Scotty's Landing in Coconut Grove the previous Tuesday. In our retirement we spent many afternoons having lunch at Berries, Scotty's In Coconut Grove and Deli Lane in South Miami. Sharon was a leader, organizing fun get-togethers for many years. We will miss her and send our...

Ms. Forbes was my son's teacher at St. Michael's in 1994, she was not only a great teacher but a special friend to all her students. During these times we were going through very sad times due to illness in the family, Ms. Forbes would always help my son after school and never asked for anything in return. Ms. Forbes, you were loved and will be missed by those you taught and their families.

Aunt Sharon was a really great person. I only now appreciate her most now she is no longer with us. She had a great empathy with my life struggles, and I will always be grateful to her for that.

Ms. Forbes was my 4th grade teacher at Saint Michael the Archangel. She was a tremendous teacher and wonderful influence, I remember her fondly. Even all these years later, I can hear speaking to the class and drilling is in Math Times Tables. I truly appreciated her. She will not be forgotten . God bless Ms. Forbes

While reading Ms. Forbes' obituary, I was impressed with her tenacity towards life and her warmth and compassion expressed towards others, especially her students. It takes a special teacher to touch the lives of students and go the extra mile for them. What a worthy example to follow! The "God who gives comfort" is near. Lean on Him.

I am still stunned at the revelation that Sharon is not longer with us. I can still hear her laugh and see her smile in my mind.
Sharon was my godmother, my friend, my family for almost as long as I can remember. Sharon's home was my second home growing up and her door was always open to me.
I can go on and on of the memories I share with her and others.
I will miss you sorely and I love you, Sharon!

Ms. Forbes, You were the best teacher I ever had. I would not have been able to make it as far as I have without you and all you taught me. When my grandfather died, you showed me so much kindness and I will never forget that. I cannot make it to your service but I donated to the Humane Society in your name. I know you're still watching over your students and you'd probably call me a "twit" for this, but I miss you terribly. May you rest in peace.

I met Sharon in 1970 and have been married to her brother, Terry since 1972. She was an amazing forceful personality who cared so deeply for animals and children and her family and cared nothing for the superficial. I always admired her as someone who knew what was important, what mattered and knew how to be a great friend and sister and how to have a good time. She knew who she was and made the most of her life. I loved her.

Sharon was one of my few long-term and dearest friends. We met at Florida Atlantic University. We both had a night class there. I drove and she provided our dinner for that day. We spent quite a few weeks taking in her mother Julia's lush garden and sharing a meal. It was the beginning of a beautiful friendship that lasted over 40 years. We shared laughter, tears and wine with our mutual friend Linda and kept in touch even after our retirement from teaching. Sharon was an intelligent,...
