Not sure what to say?

Sharon and I were friends for more than fifty years. I shall miss her, but will always treasure the memory of her friendship. To her family I offer my sympathy and prayers.

Sharon was a delightful woman. My husband and I bought our first (of four!) 122 S Volvo's from her in the late 70's. I was happy to have her sweet grandaughter, Sam, as a student library assistant at Jackson Middle School. Sharon attended a school event with Sam a year ago in the midst of her cancer treatments. She was handling her situation with admirable grace and positive energy. She was a class act and will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers go out to Sam and her family.

I, too, met Sharon when I worked at StoryQuilts. I got to know her better when I joined the Tidbits quilting group. She was a kind, thoughtful, extremely intelligent and caring person. I will miss her. My sympathy to the family.

I met Sharon when I worked for StoryQuilts... one of her favorite quilt shops to visit. She loved to quilt and was more than willing she share her skill with others. Whenever she came into the store, she always had a smile on her face and kind word for everyone. She will be greatly missed in the quilting community. My sympathy and prayers go out to all her family and friends.

It's been many years since I enjoyed the volunteer spirit that Sharon brought to the OSU Extension Family and Community Education program. She was a great volunteer and skilled teacher. Sharon was smart as a whip, capable and reliable. I am so sorry to hear of her death. She will be missed.

As one of Sharon's many colleagues, I want to let you know how knowledgeable, sincere, respected, kind, positive and many more positive comments that describe Sharon. She was/will be dearly missed.

Dearest Curtis D. Guthrie, my favorite teacher; although I didn't get a chance to know Sharon as well as I would have liked, I know she was a wonderful person. I'm sending you a giant hug.

Dear Curt and family,

While the years and the miles have separated us, I can never forget the wonderful neighbors we had in Portland. Sharon was a warm and friendly person, and she will not be forgotten. May God give you comfort at this difficult time.

So sorry to hear of Sharon's passing. I have been serving her tea or hot chocolate for the last 10 years when her and Inge were finished with their park clean up and were ready to relax. I will miss her smiling face.
