SPRINGFIELD, IL - Sharon Lee Kosmider, 59, of Springfield, died at 5:10 on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at Memorial Medical Center.
Sharon was born Oct. 17, 1954, in Chicago, the daughter of Frank and Helen Dorota Kosmider.
Sharon retired from AT&T after 35 years as a Line Manager at O'Hare Airport in Chicago. She was a member of St. Francis Borgia in Chicago and enjoyed fishing, gardening and was an animal lover.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Betty Gober and Lynn Udchick.
She is survived by one daughter, Nicole Amato of Springfield; one stepson, Dino (wife, Sharon) Amato of Chicago; two stepdaughters, Jamie (husband, Joseph) Pecoraro of Elmhurst and Candy Amato (companion, Mike Trevino) of Chicago; one granddaughter, Vivienne Elizabeth Lehmann; many step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation was accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.
A memorial mass will be held at St. Francis Borgia Church at a later date.

Its a little late to enter something but I needed to say I will miss my sister-in-law. She was always my sister-in-law,Iknew Sharon when she was fourteen and I was sixteen.Im now sixty four, that's fifty years.Good by my friend until we meet again. I know you are in a better place.,love you.

Dear Nikki, I'm so sorry about your Mom. I will miss her smile & little giggle - she could always make me laugh. Even in high school when I passed her in the hallway, she'd always do or say something to make me smile. I'm sure she's still smiling down on us along with Lyn & Betty. I miss them and they are in my thoughts always
