Onawa, Iowa Sharon Lawson Sharon Lawson, 75, of Onawa, Iowa died Monday, September 28, 2015 at her home in Onawa surrounded by her family. Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, October 1, 2015 at the Rush Family Chapel in Onawa, Iowa. Burial will be in the Magnolia Cemetery, Magnolia, Iowa. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Family Care Service, Onawa, Iowa. Sharon Lee Ruth was born April 6, 1940 in Elkader, Iowa the daughter of Harold and Maxine (Freeman) Maggert. She was united in marriage to Bobbie Joe Lawson in 1963. She is survived by four children; fourteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and five brothers. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Daniel and Douglas; one grandson, Gage Dean; one great grandson, Shawn Lucas; one son-in-law, Larry (Papa) Cox; one daughter-in-law, Bonnie Lawson; and her special life friend, Justin.
