Sharon Rose Raya

Sharon Rose Raya nee O'Malley died February 1, 2014 with her daughter Bridget and niece Mary Margaret by her side. She was born December 8, 1947 on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception to Margaret and John O'Malley. Sharon is survived by her beloved daughter Bridget, her faithful cat Judy and loving dog Mason. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Dominick Raya. She was the dear sister of Barbara (James) Lindberg, William (Marilyn) O'Malley, Mary (Albert Gonzalez) O'Malley, Patricia (Richard) O'Malley-George, Sheila Sander, Kevin (Mary) O'Malley, Terrence O'Malley, Antoinette (Elroy) O'Malley-LeJeune, John O'Malley, the late Michael (Charlene) O'Malley and the late Judith (late Francis) LaRoche. Sharon leaves behind a legacy of generosity, compassion and a strong faith. Her wit and wisdom will live on in the memories and actions of her nieces and nephews. Funeral Tuesday 9:30 AM from the Hickey Memorial Chapel 4201 W. 147th St. Midlothian to St. Christopher Church for Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
