To Karen: I didn't know your mom, but it appears that you inherited a lot of her traits. Her obituary is a wonderful tribute to a beautiful life. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time of loss. With His love, Susan, Rex, Ashley, & Dixie

Mrs. Riffel was my first babysitter back in the days when working moms didn't have the luxury of daycare. She and I had two big things in common: singing and nursing. She always stood out as an example of what a nurse should be, and I tried to emulate her in my profession. I haven't seen her much since I moved away from home 20+ years ago, but I'm grateful I had a chance to drop by unannounced a couple of years ago and she and George welcomed me with open arms. Rest in Peace, Sharon.
