My dearest friend, oh how I miss you now. The sadness than envelopes me is so heartbreaking. What will I do without you to lean on, to share my joy and sadness. You have been my best friend for almost fourty years. What will I do without you? I know you're in Heaven now with your Toni and my Shelley. I'll see you there when the Lord takes me home. It has been a long hard journey folks
Nevertheless, I've had some some weary days...

I often felt like the Rose of Sharon sitting high amongst the thorns...
In addition, sometimes the rough winds have trampled over me...
Causing me to feel like a Bittern gently singing a mournful song...

Other times, I felt like a Grasshopper in an appletree,
However, the taste of fruit sometimes went from sweet to bitter....
