Sharon E. Stubbs

STUBBS, Ms. Sharon E.-age 62, of Flint, passed away Friday, October 10, 2014 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Monday, October 27, 2014 with 10:30 am family hour at Serenity Funeral Chapel G-2340 W. Carpenter Rd. Flint, MI 48505. Apostle Ruby Johnson officiating.

Ms. Sharon Estelle Stubbs was born April 25, 1952 the daughter of Dorothy Stubbs and William Broadway. Mrs. Stubbs was a lifelong resident of Flint and attended Emerson High School. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Lutheran Church where she worked as a volunteer.

Ms. Stubbs leaves to cherish her memory: significant other, Arthur Holmes; son, James (Shirley) Albert Stubbs; daughter, Naja (Frank) Stubbs; 7 grandchildren, Rtaevous, Jeree (Jabari) Brown, I'keya (Johnny) Roberts, Isaiah Clark, Mariah McMurren, Mercedes Stubbs, Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Stubbs; 9 great-grandchildren; 5 sisters, Barabra Garrett, Debra (Marcus) Cummings, Barbara, Jewel and Natalie Broadway; 5 brothers, Rory Clayborn, Michael, Tyree, Douglas, Bryant Broadway; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Ms. Stubbs was preceded in death by: mother, Dorothy Stubbs; son, Bryant; 5 brothers, Kevin, Veron, Darwin, Quintin; William Jr.; grandparents, Anna (Stubbs) Parrish, grandfather, Leon (Gladys) Stubbs, great-grandfather, Jaynes Warren; brother and sister-in-law.
