Funeral services for Sharon Ann Tarver will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, May 19, 2016 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home Jena with Rev. Denver McBroom officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodland Cemetery in Jena. The family asks that visitation be observed on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 from 5:00 until 9:00 PM and from 8:00 AM Thursday, May 19, 2016, until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Tarver, 68, of Jena was born on April 4, 1948 in Jena and passed from this life on Monday, May 16, 2016 at LaSalle General Hospital. She was a homemaker.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Cathy Overstreet of Sikes; sons, Roy Tarver, Jr. of Madison, AL. and John Tarver of Aimwell; brother, Freddie Wayne Clark of Olla and 7 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband, Roy Tarver, Sr. and parents, Fred Hamilton and Lois Windham Clark.

Pallbearers will be Ethan Tarver, Jason Cole, Buckie Overstreet, Jarrod Tarver, Butch Bustin and Foster Franks.
