Thank you for making me the caring, compassionate, independent and hard working woman that I am today. Thank you for not being perfect and making mistakes so I could learn from them. Thank you for allowing me to be my own person and to make my own choices whether you agreed with them or not. Thank you for being you. Thank you for giving me life. Thank you for being my mom. You were one of a kind and the only mother I will ever know or love. I love you and miss you daily.

I didn't know that day, God was going to call your name. In life I loved you dearly; In death I do the same. It broke my heart to lose you. You did not go alone. For part of me went with you, the day God called you home. You left me many memories. Your love is still my guide. And though I cannot see you, you are always at my side. Don´t think of her as gone away, her journeys just begun. Life has so many facets this earth is only one. Just think of her as resting from the sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days or years. Think how she must be wishing that we could know today how nothing but our sadness can really pass away.
