When we moved to the Dayton area nearly 40 years ago among the first people we got to know were Sharon and Darryl in their home Bible study. Over all of these years one thing has never changed; her heart has always pointed toward 'true north', the Lord Jesus Christ! Her love for Jesus influenced so many in the right direction. We are very grateful to have enjoyed her friendship and look forward to the day we will see her again. We are praying for Darryl and the family -- we love you guys!

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of such a wonderful woman. I grew up with her children back in the day of Kettering Assembly. She was such a beautiful woman inside and out. She was like a mother to all. My prayers for you Darrell, Jeff, Lori, Carrie and all the children and family. I can not imagine what your going through however knowing your mother is with her Heavenly father looking upon you is comforting. Love and prayers for all of you. God Bless you!

we are so saddened by this news. Sharon was not only a wonderful neighbor but friend. She surely will be missed.

Your mom was a beautiful lady and I will always treasure our friendship. May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

We are saddened to learn of Sharon's death. I had the privilege to work with her at the United Methodist General Council on Ministries. She was always gracious and understanding and was always ready to be of service. She will be missed. I give thanks for God for her life and example.

I was friends with Sharon when our older children were young. We both were members at Kettering Assembly. I have always admired and respected her. She had a lot to give and she shared freely. She and Darryl have raised an amazing family to carry on her legacy.
