Sharon Williams Frisbie

September 4, 1951 – November 24, 2024

It is with profound sadness and deep love, that we share the passing of Sharon Williams Frisbie, who left this world on November 24, 2024 at the age of 73.  A remarkable woman who radiated beauty, strength, and grace, Sharon was a guiding light to her family, friends, and community.

Born on September 4, 1951, Sharon embodied a rare combination of intelligence, athleticism, beauty, and humor.  She was a bright soul who lit up the lives of everyone she met.  Sharon’s strength was matched only by her unwavering dedication to her family and her steadfast commitment to serving others.  She was a woman of strong convictions who inspired others to live authentically.  She found joy in her many cherished friendships, which brought her immense happiness and fulfillment.

Sharon poured her heart into raising her beloved daughters, Frances (Evan) Wehmeyer and Michaela (Michael) Facchinei who carry forward her legacy of love, resilience, and compassion.  She was a loving grandmother to five adoring grandchildren: Stella, Ryan, Margot, Briggs, and Frances.

A true pillar of her community, Sharon dedicated her life to service and philanthropy, impacting countless lives through her work on numerous boards, including the Cincinnati Art Museum, LADD (Living Arrangements for the Developmentally Disabled), Parks Foundation, Red Cross, The Children’s Home of Cincinnati, Stepping Stones, and The Summit Country Day School.  Her vision and passion helped shape a better world for generations to come.

She is also survived by her brothers, Joseph (Judy) Williams and Thomas (Jennifer) Williams, and her sister, Mary Williams Clauder.  Sharon was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Williams; her sister, Carol Williams Jodar; and her brother-in-law, Michael Clauder.

A celebration of Sharon’s life will be held at Cincinnati Country Club on Sunday, December 1st from 4 to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to consider a donation to one of the organizations she passionately supported.

There are no words to express the loss of a lifelong friend, from kindergarten to high school graduation from The Summit My thoughts are flooded with happy memories of lots of laughs, lots of mischief and lots of parties we shared together. Sharon always had a beautiful, warm and welcoming smile and clearly was loved and admired by many.
Prayers for abundant blessings for strength for the Williams family as you continue on without Sharon. But her legacy will be carried on by her...

My last note to Sharon was on September 1, 2024. I wrote: "As challenging as this time may be find comfort in your beautiful self and all that you have brought forth in your life. You are a remarkable woman and find strength in that." Over the last several years I have had the great fortune to reunite with Sharon and my roommates in the infamous "Red House." In our gathering in 2017, here in Ojai, I noticed a radiance about Sharon as she shared her true fulfillment in her life, her daughters...

Sharon was a big asset to Cincinnati and loved by many friends. We were fortunate to share in her friendship. She was taken too soon and will be missed by many. We are keeping her and her family in our thoughts and prayers.

Over the years I met Mrs. Frisbie many times at Hyde Park Golf and Country Club, where I worked as the Bar Manager for forty four years. She always came up to me and we would have a nice conversation, even if she was there for a dinner party, reception, or just there with Members of the Club. Short story! I remember one day two summers ago, Mrs. Frisbie was at a dinner event at the club. I retired from Bar Management to do Club Security on the property. I was sitting in a golf cart and...

Working for Sharon for six years as her housekeeper was a valuable experience.
I always believed I would be able to see her again one day.
We are wisked away without a second wish.
