McLEAN, Sharron K. (VanTine) - Of Rose City, formerly of Flint, age 63, died Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 11AM, Saturday, December 23, 2006 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Chaplin William Schaard officiating. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to The American Cancer Society 10AM-8PM Friday at the funeral home. Sharron was born in Flint, Michigan on March 24, 1943, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Maxine (Hazen) Yerkey. She was a resident of Flint area, until moving to Rose City in 1999, where Sharron and Terry currently own the Hillcrest Lounge. She married Terry L. McLean on February 17, 1999. Sharron was employed at Meijer in Burton and retired from Meijer in Bay City. She also worked for H&R Block in Flint. Surviving are husband, Terry of Rose City; children, Kim Cummings of Flushing, Jill VanTine of Birmingham, MI, Jodi and husband Brendan Costello of Stephens Ci! ty, VA; 5 grandchildren, Cameron and Alec Cummings, Benjamin, Leah and Jeana Costello; sister, Pat Badgley of Flint. Terry,and family, I am so sorry for your loss,I meet you and some of the family at Hurley, when Sharron was in, in July. My mother in law was in the bed next to her, She often talked about Sharron and was always wondering how she was doing, We lost our mother 11/20/06. my thoughts and prayer's are with all of you.
