I am so sorry to hear this news. My thoughts are with you all. My memories of you and your kindness to Barkley and I is always foreground at this time of year, when we were in North Muskegon and Betty would often accompany Acie up to fetch us at camp. I will always have wonderful memories of Uncle Shaw.

Mrs. Walker,
Though I only met Mr. Walker a few times, in reading the guest book, I can see from where Stuart acquired his polite. gentlemanly ways, even as a boy. He was always charming to my mother. My condolences and prayers are with all of you.

I remember Mr. Walker very clearly--as a generous and gentle man, full of kindness and good humor, warmth and affection. He was nearly a second father to me because of the many hours I spent in his house. Thank you so much. To Betty, Shaw, Stuart and Bruce: a large hug and all of the support I can send your way.

The community has lost a truly marvelous person. I cherish the years I worked at Shaw-Walker under Mr. Walker's guide. He will be greatly missed by many, many people. My sympathies to his family.

My wife and I extend our deepest sympathy to the Walker family. I had the pleasure of working under Shaw Walker for ten years and learned a great deal from this friendly but stern gentleman. It was during that time that I met his wife Betty who remained a friend long after I left. These kinds of friends you remember always. God bless you and the Walker family Betty.
