Shawn Brawner

I only met him once to ask advice on a cigar store I was buying in El Cajon and he welcomed me in, gave me a cigar, sat me down and proceeded to give free advice for an hour. He will be missed.

Shawn, I only knew you for a brief amount of time. All of the awesome stories I had heard from Leo came to light. You lived more in your short time here than many do in a full life-time. I am so thankful to have met you; you kept me laughing the whole time.

The world has lost a truly great person. Shawn and Lisa will be on my mind forever. I smile everytime I think of Shawn and will remember the man he was every time I smell a cigar, sit on my bike or see one of those crazy handlebar mustaches.

Shawn was one of the first friends I met during the summer before ninth grade. We often called each other "brother and sister". He was such a great friend. Even though I have been out of touch for several years, I am so saddened by his tragic and too early exit from life. My thoughts go out to his family, particularly Lisa, who was the love of his life.
