To Shawn's family, I offer my condolences. I just heard about the accident last night (I've been out of town), and am very shaken up. Shawn was a dynamo of a guy, and I will miss him. He definitely gave a burst of energy to our dodgeball games, as well as Trinity's softball team. God bless you all.

Dear Colvenbach Family,
When I was in second grade Mr. C. gave me the chance to find my true passion in life. Even at that young age he was able to teach me not only how to sing and perform well, but how to have confidence. All of this I have kept with me beyond elementary school to this very day. Whenever I sing, I remember all that Mr. C. taught me and I put my heart and soul into it. I can't help but feel that a part of me has been taken away. I can never forget Mr. C and all...

Our sincere condolences for your loss. All three of my children had "Mr C" as their music teacher while attending Euclid Schools.

Mr.C was one of those rare teachers that truely touch the lives of thoses who had him. He was the best and will be deeply missed by all past, and present students. Its a shame that more children were robbed of the chance to have him as a teacher. I am truely sorry for your loss and we will all remember him and his love of music.

Shawn you will forever be missed. I will not ever forget the warm smile you always shared with those around you. I enjoyed playing euchre with you and meeting you on several occasions.. We had a great time in Niagara and Ill never forget ya.. Love ya bud..

To the Colvenbach family,

Mr. Colvenbach worked with our son, Bryan, at Upson elementary. Mr. Colvenbach made such a strong, positive and lasting impression on Bryan and we just wanted you to know that Shawn's love of music and enthusiasm for life will be missed. He was a bright light in the lives of countless young people in the city of Euclid and he will be missed. God bless you all and keep you in His care.
