Not sure what to say?

Darlene, Mrs. Donohue, Jim & Anne, Patty & Jim; I'm so sorry to hear of Shawn's passing. When I heard the news I felt like somebody kicked me in the stomach. I then immediatley started remembering my childhood and how Shawn was very much a part of it.

Darlene I'm sorry for your loss and that we haven't had the pleasure of meeting. You must be a very special person to grab the heart of Shawn. It's been said we Lake View boys can be stubborn. I look back on the memories I have of...

Darlene, Your life with Shawn was full of laughter, tears, disappointments, memories, but most of all love for each other, family, and friends. Both of you gave of yourself to everyone in your life, but expected or needed nothing in return but love and time together. As we look back on all the memories our family shared, the one thing that comes to mind first is the beautiful couple you were, and the love and devotion to your nieces and nephews as if they were of your own blood. Darlene,...

We send our sincere sympathy to the entire Donohue family. We lived across the street from Jim and Dolores in Lakeview for years, and our boys grew up together. This was very sad news. God Bless all of you.

To The Donohue Family,

We are so sorry for your loss. He was such a kind soul and good person. He loved his family so much. He will live on in your hearts and minds forever. May God Bless all of you.

Sincerely, Gary and Beth Marcinkowski

Dear Darlene:

Words cannot express the sadness my family feels for your loss. Your marriage is truly one to be proud of. Your love for each other will live on forever. I love what Jane said, " He is free of cancer and pain." If anything can give you peace, I hope that can. Your family, friends and God will help you find the peace you need. I love you Darlene like a sister and I will always be here for you.

Love Beth, Gary, Ashley and Kevin

Our deepest condolensces to Shawn's family and friends....you will be in our prayers. From Shawn's neighbors and friends in Derby, NY

Dear Darlene, Mrs. Donohue, Jim and Anne, and Patty and Jim. I was shocked to hear of Shawn's passing and can only try to express my sympathy to you all in this guest book entry.

Darlene I have not had the pleasure of meeting you but I know you are a special person if Shawn picked you to spend his life with. I had not stayed in contact with Shawn over the nearly 23 years (you know how guys are) that have passed after I left the Lakeview and Hamburg area. Shawn was a great friend...

Darlene,
You are a sister that anyone would dream about. It hurts me greatly to see the pain you have been through, but I am proud of your strength. I am always here for you, forever.
I love you....David
