I was thinking today about people I've known in my life that I've respected and thought well of and then googling them to see what they are up to today. I was so sorry to find Shawn here on this page! Shawn was my boss at Desert View 2000-2002. He was fair, hard-working and kind. Being a regular visitor to the Park, up until the last few months I saw Shawn pretty much everyday. He talked about Football and the Bay Area where he grew up. He loved Flagstaff and the Canyon but was happy to be away from the cold winters up north. He talked often about his brother here in Tucson and his cats! Shawn was a very unassuming and gentle soul. Our condolences to his family and friends, he is already missed.

Shawn was always so kind and welcoming at the booth at Saguaro National Park. I did not know him well, but it was always a pleasure to chat with him before riding my bike around the loop. I know he will be greatly missed.
