Mitch, there is really nothing one can say to make this any easier. Just know that your friends are here for you and thinking of you often. I'm so sorry.

Dear Mitch,
We are so sadded to hear of Shawn's passing. My husband and I were HS classmates with her. She had such an amazing spirit about her that will always be remembered.

I knew Shawn in elementary school in Groton. I'm so sorry for your loss. You are in my prayers.

Shawn was a truly wonderful and beautiful person, and I will always cherish the great times we shared in high school and at SDSU. She and Susan were so much FUN to be around - even when we crowded into a dorm room to dance to the Go-Gos! Surely heaven is an even more joyful place with the two of them together again. Mitch, Joan, Allan, Annie-Bear and family... you are all in my prayers.
