I only knew Shawn a little but from a gym in Baltimore, but it was clear that he was a positive and generally fantastic person. He made he world a better place having been here.

I regret never thanking Shawn for taking the time to make me feel like I was welcome and a part of the Gold's family even as a newbie to the group. I will never forget his goofy personality and will miss him in the gym so very much! Heather, you and your beautiful family are in my prayers!

"There is no pain so great as the memory of joy in present grief" - Shawn was filled with so much joy in life that I think it's particularly hard to remember without seeing that wide smile and shining spirit. -- There are no words to describe the impact he had on so many. Shawn was nothing short of amazing! His infectious smile, passion for life, and kindness towards others will never be forgotten. I will forever treasure the conversations, the workouts, the laughs, the hugs, the high fives, and the occasional nudges we shared. Shawn has left a handprint on my heart.
Heather, Sammi J., and Jaxon, please know that you are always in my thoughts and prayers.
Deepest Sympathy,

We will miss Shawn; we will miss his smile, great advice and positive attitude. But in Shawn's life he touched so many and had such a positive impact on anyone who came in contact with him. At the end of the day your life is not judged by your worldly possessions, life is judged by what you did with the time given to you. Shawn made the most of his time and left great impression on anyone who ever met him. We need to take Shawn's impact on us and pass it on with: a positive attitude, a smile...
