Shawn was born on May 7, 1968 and passed away on Monday, March 14, 2016. Shawn was a resident of Marietta, Georgia at the time of his passing. Family will receive friends 5:00 â 7:00 p.m. Monday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday in the Chapel at the Funeral Home. Interment will take place at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton. In lieu of flowers an account has been established for Shawn's son Amaury. Checks can be made payable to H. Scott McAfee Jr and forwarded to 148 Charles Avenue SE Marietta GA 30067.

It is with heavy heart and hand that I write my condolences to the family of Shawn McAfee. Brother Scott, Jean, and Greg are longtime friends from the days of my youth, as was Shawn.
