Not sure what to say?

Like many others, I was shocked to learn of Shawn's passing. I worked with Shawn at EHS and was much impressed by her ability to work with students who often were apathetic and willing to drop out. Shawn demonstrated tough love but all knew, teachers and students alike, understood that these young adults were benefitting from her efforts. Shawn will be missed. I am better for my encounters with her.

I just heard about Shawn's passing. I was shocked. She and I both worked at Enumclaw High School and she would always greet me in Spanish with a lot of enthusiasm. We used to have great conversations. She'll be missed.

Shawn was an awesome light where she went. She was incredibly gifted and full of love for others. She was a wonderful coworker and friend.

Shawn will be dearly missed as a friend, leader and COTA. Her daily interactions left people with a sense of warmth, value and genuine worth. Shawn's touch and smile will be missed but kept always in our hearts. Our love to her and her family.

I worked with Shawne at Enumclaw High School with the special needs students. She was so special and loved by all those kids. She always smiled and was peppy and after I left that job I ended up running into her with my new job at her new job. She will be truly missed by all and we were so lucky to have known her and have great memories with her. Our thoughts and prayers are with her friends and family at this tough time.

My prayers are with Shawn's family and friends. I know that she was loved and admired by her co-workers at Linden Grove Health Care Center. Carolyn Estepa, Premier Therapy Services

Shawn was a delightful student while enrolled in the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program at Green River Community College. She was always excited to learn new things and frequently spent time with me talking about her life and family. I was very sad to hear about her untimely passing.

I got to know Shawn a bit through teaching at the ski-school at Crystal. We'd share rides from Enumclaw and I truly enjoyed my conversations with her and her loving fun spirit. I will miss seeing her friendly smile. You will be missed Shawn-na-na.

Dear All of You,
I feel so sad that Shawn is gone. When I talked to my Mom last night she said it felt like she had lost a member of her family. We all share her feelings.
I remember Shawn"s impish smile when I was her babysitter so long ago. Love to you all. Carol
